my gar's name is ashguachi. I realize its kind of a weird name, but my 1 yr old cousin named it, and I'm gonna stick to that. LOL

one of the first longnose gars i raised/kept reminded me a lot of a submarine in the way it would "dive" deeper into the water column, as well as its stealthy approach to prey...so it was named "K-19"..."the minnow-maker"--

next gar has a stripe most of the way down his side. he jumped 3 times when acclimating him to the big tank. his name is Houdini.

Well the gars i had. The L. Osseus was Johnny and the FL/spot was named Reverand. Although i had many more gars than this these were the only 2 that i named.
For mine- I say his name and his title everytime- like his namesake did-(from Dan Akroyds 70s SNL character) Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute- It was funny back then- now nobody knows what Im talking about
