For the record- I consider myself more of a Marblism planner/trader, ensuring there are high quality genes being passed around so that enjoying Marblism in the future doesn't financially kick the crap out of others like it allready has me. When I have a pup with rediculous potential in a 20 gallon growout in my bathroom then by all means plan an intervention for me. Till then I'm just gonna sit here and try to figure out how to lead my rays astray from thier beliefs in abstinence. I MUST corrupt them by talking them into reproducing so I can have a friggin black ray before my family pulls some ray intervention crap.

Besides ask the guy that just bought 50% of my adult Marbles IF I'm a hoarder..... ;) When someone else has nice Marbles and are looking for more nice ones I'll gladly be the 1st to offer. I enjoy the comfort of knowing the population of nice ones may grow. Unfortunately after price negotiations this is where they explain to me that I like Marbles TOO much, as apparently I often overpay for them :(

Sorry for the derail Trev! Was wonmdering if there's any chance you can update us on the filtration side of things? I'd like to see lots of quality pics of that non stop baby producing chamber and it's filters. :drool:

Yup. Kinda loosing the fire. Almost gettin to the point where I think they'd have better luck breeding in someone else's possesion then mine. Not bailing completely... I'm gonna downsize to a group of 4 (3/1) adults and see if I can get them goin.

I'm just really happy to see JimR genes making all the way across the country. :headbang2 Should be some VERY nice Marbles coming out of WA in the future. Pat put some genes up there as well as some other hobbyists. Glad I could help someone else intrested in Marbles, they seem to be a dying breed, seems there's only love for black rays now a days.

I'll be looking forward to your thread Trev...... I'm really stumbling over the filtration aspect. Seems like everyone kinda takes a "welp that should work" approach rather then a "How can you make it even better?" approach. Was hopin to gain ground with my filtration thread but that kinda failed. :(

yup the males are horn balls lol

i put in peace river from caribsea. i will prob take it out and put torpedo beach, because i like it better

yup the leohen is prego too. she is in the last 2 pics, furthest to the left
