Today I had the oppotunity of a life time. In this hobby of ours we all wish to share are knowledge and passion with the public who other wise would never see or experience the beauty of our hobby. Every once in a while the fruits of our labor pays off. For me today was the day. With the help of fellow MFK member BDerick, I Donated my Pinima pair, Ocellaris, and Temensis Peacock Bass to the local Denver Zoo! I myself and Derick would like to thank Rick Haeffner for the behind the scenes tour of the Tropical Discovery where my Cichla will now be seen on display with other SA large Monster Cichlids in there 13,000g display. I am truely at a lost for words. I wanted to share this news with all my fellow MFK's. I know we can't keep these Monsters forever but we can enjoy every moment of the ride. What better way to have my experience's re lived by others for years to come then to be able to share them here with all of you up to this point and now to be able to go and see them at the local zoo. I learned everything I know from a lot of you and thought I would share the journey and my experience of this special day indeed. If you ever in town you can now see the Pinima and Ocellaris as well as a Temnisis Peacock Bass at your local Denver Zoo.
