I went in to sell my plasma this week and had a heck of a reaction to the anti-coagulant they are now using. I mean I got sick, really, really, shaking, want to puke, want to poo, want to pass out sick. It was pretty scary.:barf:

The nurses said as long as the plasma center uses their current anti-coagulant that I can't sell plasma anymore.:( So, bye-bye easy $200 a month, bye-bye 240 gallon tank by end of the year.:swear:

I've been looking around town and the only job available is a night shift convenience store clerk. Childcare would be $5.00 an hour and I'd make $6. After taxes would I even make any money?

Anyway, I think I'll look into babysitting, even though my hubby doesn't want the liability issues that come with watching other people's kids.

I need my own money! I can't wait until my son goes to kindergarten so I can get a "real" job!

where in michigan can i got to sell plasma for that much?

I didn't know you guys get paid so much for plasma over there. All the blood over here comes from donations.

Bio-Life Plasma Center in Marquette, MI pays you $20 for your first "donation" a week(really you are not donating because they pay you), then $30 on your second. Donations have to be 3 days apart, so I would go on Monday, then back on Thursday. That's $50 a week for doing little more than sitting a chair and reading a book. $50 bucks a week = $200 a month.

They have really strict guidelines on who can sell plasma. For example, if you get a new piercing or tattoo you have to wait a year and get all your medical tests (blood, urine, physical) done over after that. They pay for all of that though, and have free childcare right at the center. In order to donate you must live with-in a 150 mile radius of the center. They require proof of address with a driver's license/state ID and a recent utility bill in your name.

Really for a SAHM like me it was the perfect set up. I could get a little break from the kids, catch up on some reading, and the kids were taken care of for free.

You can sell a kidney, they are pricey.
