Last week received a nice order from Freshwater exotics. Christine has been working with me for literally months trying to get the fish I wanted. Fish where shipped airport to airport, which I can't stand (I have my reasons). I was assured it would go smoothly and it did. First airport shipment I was happy with. The packaging was one of the best I have seen so far. I got 2 8 inch or so mangos, 3 large chubbies, one L200 hifin and a golden vampire. All came in great shape. The thing I was most impressed with was that all fish where held in their facility for at least two weeks before shipment.
Here are some pictures. I wish I thought to take them before putting the fish in the tanks.
ok so photobucket is acting up will post pictures soon. Sorry for the one with my chin

Nice stuff! Were they able to properly sex the fish as they said?

So initially I was going for a male/female pair of the mangos. Only two large ones came in and I was taking both regardless, so at that point we thought it was irrelevant.

The hifin is said to be male. I honestly can't confidently tell at the current size. I will take their word for it. In a couple of months when I move the other six/seven I will be able to really compare.

Can you post a pic of the gold vampire? Those are next on my list after i get a few more l091.

Will try to catch him over the weekend for a picture. He is a little guy but looks good. I have seen some larger ones that where really nice fish.

Cool I thought they may be small to sex, and I know YOU know how to... so I was wondering. How is the one mango doing?

That was my worry and we will see. Right now i have the other group and I determined them as all females. So they are either all females, too small to sex, or I suck at sexing them. Eventually when he joins the group I will compare. None the less healthy pleco that is a hifin.

The mangos are dong alright overall. The biggest one is doing great and a beast. A very aggressive eater. The other one is a little more touch and go. I can't tell if it is eating but it is still in very good body condition. Depending on the day the eyes can be slightly sunken and occasionally gets a white fuzz on its head and spines that I don't know what to make of. I comes and goes. Its not infection but doesn't quite look like excessive slime. I think the fish is still very stressed.
