you don't float a bag? I thought drip-method was deemed "not so great" somewhat recently, no?

i stopped doing drip or float or any kind of acclimation. i dump my fish right in. I have had much better success this way. So many more advantages for the fish with a quick dump.

Local mom and pop fish store in my area tipped me off on a customer that was selling some larger fish. One was this bala so I went and picked it up.
I'm trying to build my group of bala Sharks too. How big is your tank and what is your ideal number of fish?
My Tank is a 220 and I think I will stop at 3 for now. I also have the 5 tiger silver dollars, 7 Filament barbs a 15" tire track eel and a pleco. So I'm just gonna let everything grow up for now. I may end up rehoming the Filament barbs though and put my 6 clown loaches from my 125 in the 220 in the near future though.
After a day in my Tank with the other bala sharks my new one has calmed down and seems to be not as skittish.
