why not just put everyone in at the same time?

Money. I don't have that much to buy all at once. I would do it in a 2-3 week process depending on how many I got.

You could possibly just add however many males you wanted first, and then add in females once the males have all established territories. Or maybe do it the other way around. Add all the females, let them adjust to the giant tank, then toss in however many males you're going to try and let them duke out territories and girlfriends.

I think I'll just add 1/3 male 2/3 females in increments over a 2-3 week process. That should work. Still waiting on the other forum I posted this on to see what they say.

now keep in mind that even though you Can keep that many together with out a problem does not mean that it is best for you. I had to do weekly cleanings to keep the cage presentable and I imagine that catching up 50 or more anoles would not be fun considering how hard it was for me to catch the 10 that we had in a small tank. you may want to stick to a lower number of around 20 or so. this way you could introduce them all at once and the maintenance would be halved. Anoles are quite messy ad so are the cricket you will have to put in there to feed them so the cage will get dirt quick. Just a warning.

Thanks. I didn't want to "fill" the tank anyways. A smaller number would be more feasible to accomplish. If I did want to get more I could easily try to power feed some in a smaller tank if the ones in the 125 were too big for the new ones. I think 5 males and 15 females would be a good number too. If only the males need a "territory" then 5 should be fine easily plus the females would keep them busy. Thanks again.
