Green aro growth rate

Here's my green at 2 years seems to go through spirts now and then stops growing then starts eatting like a pig and grows again....

Whats the point? A lot of people struggle to get aros to eat pellets, why spoil it with live food thats less nutritious. I've never been a fan of feeding live food to monsters unless its necessary.

Any high protein food (like frogs) will bulk up any carnivorous fish.
To the op, that is a beautiful tank and it has beautiful fish. That arowana is stunning! I bet that if you had him on a custom food (made with fish from the grocery store, shrimp, other shellfish, and beef heart, with some gelatin to hold it together) he would grow even faster.
