Yes greens are illegal in the US, I wasn't aware until after I purchased it tho

Its a definite possibility its a jar I really don't know much about aros, it looked really light silver with light yellow fins when it was in the tank. All I know is the tank was labeled green aro and he cost me around $50 at 2"

for that price it was a jar.

Sorry for your loss. RIP little fishy.
I lost a BN catfish down the back of one of my tanks when I was moving him a few nights ago, had to use a spoon to get him out and put him straight back in, haven't seen him since so hope he's ok :-( It's amazing how attached we get to our little fishy friends
