hey guys i have just been offered a very good price on a green arowana...only problem is it has a slightly bent tail. I was wondering is it possible to fix its tail? the seller say's it it but im not sure...any suggestions?
the reason it looks bad is because it recently got stuck in a overflow thingy..the seller is asking $300 which is awfuly cheap becasue small 12-15cm ones go for $800 and at this size which is 30cm+ they go for around $100 here in aus.
So the slightly bent tail is an injury. It may not recover at all. The damaged fins though should be able to repair themselves with plenty of water changes.
damn....seller just told me it wasnt from that..he bought it from over state and it had the bent tail...he also showed me a vid of its bent tail and it has gotten better...ill try finding it.
