got more news fomr the guy who had it originally...he told me the aro was in perfect condition as a baby but since he had poor water conditions he got the slightly bent tail..now since its been taken care of its gradually gettin better...so i decided to buy this arowana and restore it in perfect condition so it can live hapily.

Good job. As long as it is eating and behaving normally, it should be ok.

And if the tail does not mend, it is not a hell of a problem, imo....

ill tell you the story
i bought it off a friend a few months back
he origonaly got it off sum 1 in a differant state who sent it over like this but it was much worse
wen my mate recived it and called the guy the guy ashurd him that it will heal in a week after a week no change then he called him again and the guy said o well im not taking it back your problem now
wen my mate bought it he paid $1000 at 15cm
he had it for like 6 months or more cant remember
i bought it off him becouse he didnt have a big enough tank anymore
i paid $450 for it
in the this time the tail has improved drematicly it eats hikari pellets and anything else
his fins look ratty because he jumped into my overflow box about 2 months ago they wer nearly all gone but have heald rite up
i am now selling it for $300 because i am changing my tank around and he is to predatory
i read up about it b4 i bought it and from wat i hear it happend because of poor water conditions wen young
just thought id post making shur i wasnt seen as a monster:irked:
