hi

iam thinking of getting a 5ft x 2ft x 2ft tank in my bedroom(will have to make the floor stronger), would a green asain arowana live in that tank most of his life.

thanks

yea most of its life

Most of it, but not all of it.

depends on how much you feed it and how regularly you change the water effects the growth rate

Just curious , i suppose u mean better water quality = faster growth rate? does changing water more often also increase growth rate?

yea and how much you feed it too,my arowanas grow fast lol but my jardinis grows slow b/c it barely eats =(

All fish benefit from waterchanges, Good luck hope you get the tank of your dreams

Better water means healthier aro which means healthy growth rate. Bad water means unhealthy aro which means messed up growth rate. The tank probably wont last 5 years, id say 3-4 years and you'd have to change. If cared for properly, your aro would be over 2ft in 4 years.

the only way it would last 5 yrs is you mistreated the arowana
