Hey everyone im trying to find a green beta fish for one of my friends, none of my local stores carry this color morph and i am even having trouble finding anything like it online. She is very particular on what she wants. It cant be more of the blueish turquoise varient, she wants a darker green. I will try to post a picture of what she is looking for and if anyone has any for sale or knows of where i can find one please let me know. Thanks mfk people!!!

if you have money, you can buy them from Thailand! I used to have one when I was in Vietnam!

@HungDang you wouldnt happen to have a website for special ordering from Thailand would you? Or do you mean fly there? lol

You can always contact a beta breeder overseas and get a transhipper to ship it to u, there are plenty of transhippers in the us that makes buying overseas so much easier. Essentially what u do is buy the fish on aquabid or something than choose from a list of transhippers that they usually have on their details. Transshippers are essentially people that have done all the paper work to get fish shipped into their country without too much of a hassle

or you can buy some greenish betta and start breeding a few generation till you get two mint green with no hint of blue or etc color and breed a few more generation till you get that lime green lol either way gonna take many generations to produce that bright color

Hmm. I've never seen one before. I wonder if they look the same in person as in pics.

It also may not be a consistent color morph, but an oddball, which would make it nearly impossible to find. Sometimes bettas throw off weird color morphs that can't seem to be replicated consistently. And in that case the breeders usually keep them to see if they can get a line going.

Your best bet like others said is to look on aquabid for thai breeders. They seem to have the most oddball stuff like that.
