Man now I want one

I agree with the person who said they are not easy to come by it is very hard to get that color from breeding

not easy to come by in US, pretty easy in East, South East Asia!

It's the specific green that's hard to get due to genetics. It's a true green on on black.
There are other greens that are more common (regular turquoises are sold as greens even at Petco and not that uncommon - they do sometimes look green, so to speak).
I'd guess the rarer colors are easier to come by in asia because of the sheer amount of betta breeders as opposed to here, and the size of their facilities, plus they've been doing it a lot longer, but that specific color should still be less common than the other color morphs, even in asia, unless you're referring to a different green.

Unfortunately over here the quality breeders generally have much less stock and smaller facilities. Thailand has show breeders farming quality bettas in large quantities outside, and most of the people producing to that extent here are just the major suppliers in florida that sell regular veiltails and such through major retailers. :(
Most people buying bettas don't know anything about strains or color morphs, so it doesn't improve their profits to put more time, effort, and money into producing anything special.
