Aussie water dragons are not the most tameable dragon. Can't comment on the others as we can't keep any non-native herps in Aus.

i barley gave any info to get that snippy about
a few of my friends have them for your info
and i read a care sheet before i stated what i did
what is so wrong about what i said?
nothing was incorrect about the statement

I wasn't being snippy. I just love when people post stuff that they themselves have no experience with. And for your info, male basilisks can be just as tame as water dragons. My male plumed was super tame. Now females can on the other hand can be quite flighty if you startle them.

aussiesare awesome and you can find um for less but i has no experience with any of the species stated

Ive kept browns(both vittatus and basiliscus), greens and green water dragons:D Would love to have a aussi and Im still trying to make some space in the herp room to make a big habitat so to bring at least one of thouse species back to the collection and this time with breeding on my mind:headbang2That is if I dont find a sailfin dragon first;) But all great lizards with a particular soft spot for both greens. They are very similar to keep as well. Give them as much space as you possibly can as that will dramaticly decrease the odds of them smashing their faces on the cage walls. Lots of branches, plastic or natural plants and a big filtered and heated water area are in my oppinion absolute must haves if you trully want to enjoy this lizards. Glass cages are simply to small for grown ups. Also it is very important to understend that they are mainly hands of animals. Tameness may come (or not) in time. Aussis obviously have the great advantage of being relatively cold hardy and can be housed outside.
Oh and lets not forget what in my opinion its the ultimate basiliscus: Basiliscus galericus the red headed basilisk,VERY hard to come by and very hard to breed:D
