Don't get me wrong, I don't think they are any better than the Ecuador variety. In fact I think the red/yellow species I've had in the past are much better looking. The Male is 8" and the female is 6 and like I said they have been in my tanks two years, so getting them at 2" they are probably closer to 2.5-3 years old. Plenty of time to show their "true" colors. I put the "green" label on them so no one would be dissapointed in their lack of regular color.
