except for the fish above me...none posted were green. one member posted a rarer tilapia that was solid green though. it was WC and not his
Did they look gray to you? Maybe kind of brownish? You might not have a normal blend of cone cells in your retina. This is very common and nothing to be ashamed about.

Holy crap! there genetically modifying cichlids? I knoew about the danios but never seen GM'd cichlids. Or are they just dyed?
