Just some video of my A. centrarchus in breeding dress guarding their nest. If you look close you can see where an outbreak of what I think was columnaris took the scales of the side of the male's face. He's the same fish as in my avatar. I think he was fighting with one of the juvie growouts from the last batch and it got infected. He's recovering now, but still no scales.

They've moved the eggs to an undisclosed location in the tank. They should be wiggling by now but I can't see them.

anybody want some fliers?
:headbang2

nice, and congratulations.....I've never seen these, but def wouldn't mind grabbing some

can the fliers fly all the way to where I am if so I would love some

I hate to say it, but their appearance is probably a contributor to their lack of popularity. They resemble convicts.

Well I don't think they look that much like convicts, especially in person. They have a very unique body shape.... Plus, cons are pretty popular ;)

Are they hard to breed?

only in breeding dress do they appear similar to convicts.

Here's some pics of the male not in breeding colors.
