he looks nice but keep in mind that colors do fade as they get older.

i dont know if i would spend 60 on an iggy. but thats up to you.

I know. Really though, $60 around here is cheap, especially for that size. Usually they charge about $40 for one 12" or less, and they're usually very faded green gray. I'm still thinking about it, trying to decide if I should take on an iggy right now.

And if I did get him, I can easily build him a larger enclosure in the future. And he may not get his own room, but he could at least have part of one :).

To me, 60$ is a fair price but you need to considere that they need A LOT of space, a minimum of 6' x 3' x 4' is in my mind the strict MINIMUM for green iguana. And most importantly, I hope you remeber that green iggy leaves in trees?? So he'll need some branchs to climb on and relax

That size of an enclosure will work for now, but he will need bigger eventually. As he grows up he may catch his tail on something while moving around and break it off. I converted an entire bedroom in my house to house my iguanas.
That sounds pretty awesome Clyde.Do you have any pictures of your set up to share?I'm in Puerto Rico currently and I've actually seen a few two and three footers lounging around and theres nothing like seeing wild ones in their natural (somewhat)environment.
