how do you setup the humidifier in such a way that it wont hurt the iguana? ultrasonic beam is very dangerous,i've tried to put my fingers damn! it hurts! hahaha!

Dude you just waisted money:grinno: You dont need no fogger(and yes is dangerous:eek: get rid of it), that "uv" lamp is way to weak(in terms of uv produced) and that heating lamp is to strong for a baby iguana(in terms of heat produced), even here with the winters we have a 60w lamp would be enough for heat(for a baby;)), let alone a 100w in a tropical climate, absolute overkill and a unnecessary electric bill. That kind of lamps are better for grown iguanas but even then its better to have 2 60w ones than one 100w. Both lamps are usable but you will need a large terrarium so to create a temp gradient on your iguana comfort zone (a.k.a. so to not grill your iguana) and you will need to expose your ig daily to sun ligth because that uv lamp is to weak. Also for heat lamps like yours you dont need to buy them from pet shops, you can get them way cheaper from electic shops. Only uv lamps need to come from pet shops. Also the heat lamp says "moon ligth glow" That kind of lamp is better for nigth time animals. For humity all you have to do is get a small plastic water botle, make small holes in the botle´s cap with a neddle, fill the botle with water and there you have a sprinkler, wich you can use to humidify your igs enclosure :D Well as you just learned the herp market is filled with a unbeleavable amount of useless products that we have trobble figuring out what good are they for. Thouse foogers shouldnt be used in enclosures housing live animals, electrocution is a very real possibility:WHOA:

yes i know the UV lamp is weak but other higher wattages arent available till next week:D (excited),its been raining here since last week so i cant have him in contact to direct sunlight

regarding the heating bulb,,I dont run them all through out,I just open it for about 30 min just for him to warm up,I know that i dont really need this heating lamp from where i am but the weather is still not cooperating till now:irked: even i feel cold so what more for him

as for the fogger:grinno: ....
i like its spooky effect :D:screwy: ....
BTW is the fogger really a waste of money? coz im tired of spraying him using this garden spray for orchids:irked:

maybe ill just use it on my DIY "serenity tank"
or should i use it still on my iggy?

Looking great!

You need a weaker buld to give your ig the possibility to termoregulate during its normal 12 photoperiod, not a 30 min bust:grinno:

Yes it is, its dangerous and you dont need to spray your ig more than 1 a day during the afternoon. Igs arent the most needed for humity tropical herps. I spray mine 1 time every other day and they are the most healty igs I raised;) Oh and the terrarium needs to dry for the rest of the day so your ig doesant sleep in dampness. That will only give her skin problems and hipotermia.

Dont use it on your ig:grinno::screwy:

for what reason?;)
I already told you why:grinno::screwy: The biggest and more than enough treat is electrocution. That alone can kill your ig. It will also create a too moist atmosfere wich is the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and fungus.
These are at most deco things that shouldnt be used with animals. Your ig cage most be totaly SAFE. These are very strong animals and they are capable of climbing and ripping things apart. It would be just a question of time. Your ig cage must supply your ig what she needs, not what you think is aesteticly plesant.
