...and...

...and others agreed with this advice. So how many of us does it take to say the same thing until you get it into your head?

Well that thing doesnt happen to me coz I dont run it thoroughly,i schedule it like 2hrs in the morining and 1 hour late afternonn, everything in moderation dude,if you are having molds that means you are over using it.those tiny mist should just come with the air, also having molds depends on what kind of cage you are using,I just dont follow and listen to some thoughts I also have my own brain:D,well maybe i wasnt raised to be a follower:grinno:

As someone said before, using the darn thing just because you "like the way it looks" and you're too lazy to pick up a spray bottle and mist him 2x a day is a piss-poor reason to ignore good advice.

yeah i admit im lazy:D and i also like the way it looks ,

But hey...do what you want. There's really nothing we can do about it, so why not? If your iguana gets shocked and dies, or gets a bacterial infection, you're probably too arrogant to admit it and no one here will ever know you killed your pet out of negligence. That's the beauty of taking online advice from halfway across the world. You can toss it all out the window on a whim.

i guess you havent seen the humidifier/bottle project prototype?:grinno: darn you are not reading the whole thread! I already enhanced it

and ill tell you if the iggy died ..honestly:grinno: i wouldnt keep it a secret, and thats for others to learn too, that way others won't do what i have done
:chillpill::D

chillout guys im not making fire here, just an exchange of thoughts:chillpill::D, I hope you understand hehehe,

FYI i followed some of thiers..not all advice are advicable/correct.. thats why we have our own brains,,I dont just take advice without an explanation.. You dont just eat poop coz they tell you they have nutrients on it,you have to have a proof and an explanation..

and who told you that i denied?

an iguana is not that hard to keep after all adding my climate advantage,"SOME" people just like to make it sound complicated and maybe sound knowledgeable... thats why some fish newbie are hesitating to post newbie questions coz some people will act and make you feel dumb instead of helping the newbie out

An iguana is just as easy as counting 1,2,3:ROFL::chillpill: I wish I bought that marine iguana instead! that would be more challenging:nilly:

now im plannin to step onto chameleon ..someone is selling 1 to me for $180(isn't that overpricing?)
Ill see you guys on the chameleon newbie thread:ROFL:lets see who's the real lizardmaniac here

Im done with this thread

WHAT?! Are you questioning that I and others here dint give you proper information?!:irked: Dude Ive been keeping iguanas for almost 17 years, Ive raised, babysited, reabilitetad iguanas on the most varied circunstances I can think of and more igs passed in my hands than the number of fingers in my 2 hands;) Im from the time were every sorce stated that iguanas needed animal protein on their diet and I learned first hand that makes igs propence to articular gout. I came on 2 diferent ocasions this close () to have my own baby igs hach in my house. Many of thouse igs died from many diferent causes but none of the usual that kills igs that is metabolic bone desiase, they died from very serious medical trobleship like egg biding and the last 5 before my corrent 2 died in a very misterious kind of way from wich I have a prime suspect: criptosporosis, a deadly protozoan infection that causes disasters in zoological colections. The saddest of all is that with the corrent tecnology we had back then there wasnt much that i could do to save them:( BUT they all lived more than a decade :Dexcept for 2 females:( my corrent one is the first that thanks to very extensive and painstanking vet work has surpassed its first egg laying seazon without becoming eggbound. Ive been and seen almost all ig desiase that I can think of. My friends trust me more than any vet to see their igs. I beleave that I can deferenciate what will or not work:D Its a question of trust, Ive ansered EVERY question you have asked me and now you say that you dont trust me to advice you:irked: I gess Ive been waisting my time then:(

and who told you that i denied?

You have just tuched the tip of the iceberg budy:naughty: Wait untill your ig reaches sexual maturity(if he reaches it that is;)) and if he is a he it will become a big and mean %ss kiking machine for 2 mouths and that is the good part. Pray that he is not a she because if it is, it will became pregnet with non fertilazed eggs that can reclaim her life unless you get a vet to do a really expensive life saving operation
An iguana is just as easy as counting 1,2,3:ROFL::chillpill: I wish I bought that marine iguana instead! that would be more challenging:nilly:
I isnt and well just see how she will be in 2 mouths

i Just have to say thank you. i havent laughed that hard all day..

An iguana is just as easy as counting 1,2,3.. thats a good one.. get back to me in a year or so and tell me how easy it is.. hes only going to stay small for a short time.

Wish i could become an expert iguana keeper in a few weeks.. you came here a month ago not knowing a thing about your iguana that you IMPULSE bought and a month later you are an expert:screwy:.. Thats amazing!:WHOA:

One last thing. when people give you advise listen.. we have obviously know what we are doing. so just do yourself a favor and listen:thumbsup:

Thank you have a good day:clap

this is the only guy that sounded that he has something, and I know he have tons of infos about iggys

but why do you always tend to group yourself along with others?

I know europeans really kick ass, they always give thier best and not just immitate others they always have thier own version in any aspects just like the japanese:headbang2
