i like to keep blue lights on the tanks in the bedroom and livingroom. nothing sweeter than a bright blue 23" arowana cruising his domain!! anyway i used two of those aluminum work lights from home depot ( they look like big metal domes) and walmart carries awesome energy efficient bulbs that dont get hot and they come in blue, green, orange, red, yellow, purple. you could also just wire a few bulb sockets in your light box if it is protected from evaporating water and just lay them sideways in there, even have em on a switch.
