Green Monsters in quarantine

how long do u keep them in quarintine? Do you put any type of chemical in the tank? How long normmaly till you know they will make it?

It depends. I kept one pair which was too pretty and big to put in any of my quarantine tank. They went directly into a tank with my Tems. I got lucky with that pair. No meds, not even Melafix. I'll have to deworm the whole tank though just to get rid of any parasites they may have brought in with them.
Generally it takes two weeks for me to know if the PBs are gonna have problems. I usually dose them with Melafix to help them deal with any wounds. If there are obvious scratches on their bodies that might get infected or fungused, I dose them one or twice with triple sulfa.
I also use Prazipro for deworming them.
