I'd suggest trying with more than two fish, a couple of greens/banjars and a couple of silvers should work together in a large tank. And I say should because nobody can say for sure with out actually trying, there is always a degree of uncertainty when dealing with live animals.
i will need a really big tank for that and i just dnt have the space at the moment.i have 2 silvers already.i was planning to give one silver away and get a green or a banjar red

i think you shouldnt get them if you can house them

Well you can still try it if you want, just with less fish there's a much higher chance of it not working and you losing an expensive fish. Either that or wait til you do have space.

maybe i will just wait.i dont want to lose a fish for no reason.

I've kept silver aro with a super red aro, green aro and red golden aro. they don't seem bother each other, unlike when keeping 2 asian aros or 2 silvers. But it would be safer if the silver is a little bigger than the asian aro.

but these are 4 aros together. so there wont be too much aggression.but keeping a silver with a green or banjar is what i am worried about. my silver is about 9-10" right now
