Somewhere???
Just bought 3 at about 1 inch in my 125g. Just wondering on the usual info for any fish. Size, feeding habits, latin name, etc. Couldnt find much on MFK.
Thanks alot guys:naughty:

I am gonna have to say, I don't have much of a clue with lfs names, if you hads a pic, I could possibly help. Odds are it is Venesula which gets an average of 18", but a possible 24". 125 gal. Pellets and other meaty foods. Tankmates, other large peaceful but able to hold there own cichlids. Do well with plecos, to the best of my knowlege, but Peanut Power would be the one to give you the best advice, since he is the most addicted.

Ok, while on Aquabid, I saw Pike cichlid Green Comprisseps, which is a dwarf Pike cichlid. 30 Gal meaty foods, and any tankmate that does not fit in its mouth, and can not eat it either. Will get to about 4"

And for pike cichlids the latin name is always Crenicichla, and in this case could be compriceps or something like that, and my earlier post was Crenicichla venezula. I just bought Crenicichla lenticulata, and own Crenicichla johanna

I have personally bought three different pikes under the name "Green Pike"

C. compressiceps
C. proteus
C. "bellycrawler sp"

I hate common names
