I had them they grow very quick and lose the green coloration as they get bigger. They still keep that black blotch when lights are off.

Did you ever see a vibrant red in the males!

Funny you should say that. Ive been on the fence about acquiring one or two mylesinus paraschomburgkii. They are like a dwarf pacu/giant redhook SD that gets to around 15" TL. Ive only seen them available on tuic a couple times, really want to get one but my bigger tank is not ready yet so I'll probably just hold off and hope theyre still around in the future.
