As soon as they adjust to their new surroundings, I suggest upping the SG. A month or sooner. I doubt anyone has kept them long-term (into their mid-teens) in FW.

I have heard people say that they have with pics, but I do not believe it to be true.

Well they were ads from Craigs list with GSP's for sale. They did not look old, but were larger than a juvie

not very long, and only when they are very young juvies. I would say a month at the most IMO

I just searched it and one person on this site said his roomate had one for two yrs in freshwater, but it was only 3 inches he said, so it was stunted i guess
