Green Sunfish Fishing and keeping

What have you caught yours on?
What do you feed yours in the tank?

i posted this somewhere but...
would greenies go for bobber-nightcrawler setups?
or fly/worm combos that are just left there?

i get mine on a fly rod with a little dry fly they go crazy for that(manly in the eveing). bobber and night crwler works too.

what kind of flies do you recommend?

i would try mabye baby may flie about size 12-20 or and female adams size 12-20

they will take almost any bait you throw at them, if you flyfish for them you should use dry flies, or any fly for that matter in sizes 8-16, larger the fly the larger the fish

what's their average size?? i caught my first one(and probably the only) that was like 5" I think? he had a HUGE mouth..on a jig tipped with the bottom part of a garyyamamoto kreature

i have caught them from 1/2-8" on flies, regular baits, and live baits

i catch em on half a night crawler and size 8 hooks theres a spot on the shore line where a bunch of reeds are then there is a little hole in them where the water is exposed i just drop it in there and can pull out tons
