I used to think that the greens held the title, hands down it goes to the bluegill. I am going to have the post pics on a possible hybrid of the two. This fish is the most aggressive fish I own, she even takes the title from Big Blue who significantly larger than her and runs the tank.

Take the average bluegill with attitude and multiply it X 2 when she is in a decent mood, when she is charging all the time X 5 mild, pure meaness X 10. My other greens would change direction and go to the other side of the tank and hide when they saw her. Any of you that own greens know this WILD. The dominant green was larger than her!!

I will even say she is the most intelligent for finding food also. She(cheetah speed X2) is the fastest for snatching food even from the warmouths(cheetah speed). She even dares to get around the food from the bottom, in the catfish's territory. She inhales all food and never chews.

She looks like a bluegill, body is half green and half blue. Her lower fins have a yellow edging and her tail does too. Her mouth is more bluegill. She is an odd looking fish.

I have seen her do full speed charges at Big Blue because she was chasing all the other fish and wasn't paying attention. She stops 3 inches cold everytime, when Big Blue looks at her like "Alright, go ahead, DO IT!" She looks like "Oh no, not you, I thought you were one of the other fish, Sorry!!!" She turns around as fast as she can and hides. Big Blue looks at her like "I thought so, that's why I didn't move, you aren't even worth me raising my Dorsal!!!"

Cool Rays, Ive heard of hybrid vigor; never seen it in a tank, what is her size compared to big Blues. I cant remember what site it was, but a couple of years ago a guy used to own a Pumpkinseed/ Green hybrid he said was beating up his Oscars so bad that he finally had to get rid of her. Rays your up as late as I am! LOL!

warmouth, I am a night owl. I can literally stay up all night, wee hours of the morning and still continue moving and working until 5 or 6 in the evening and sleep for 1-2 hours and do it all again.

Only time I will completely shutdown is if I have stayed up 48-72 hours straight with no sleep at all. I will then crash for 8 hours if it has been 48 hours and working. I will sleep 10-12 hours if it is 72 hours if I worked hard during this time.

My brother and I used to see who could stay up the longest when we were younger, I would win everytime. My brother could only handle 48 hours. He still stays up until 4 am and has to be up at 11 am. My longest and usual is 72 hours straight.

I have out worked every Boss in my current field of work. I have because I could stay up and continue to work without sleep and without stopping. I stop long enough to quickly eat food and sometimes I still work while I eat. I will admit I am a workhorse and I don't stop until the job is done. I have always told my bosses to go home ahd rest.

Every now and then I would see an old supervisor I worked for and we still laugh at what he told me 12 years ago. "If I had just one of you in every department, I would not need another single employee!!!" He was not kidding and meant what he said.

I had finally decided, if I am going to kill myself for everyone, I might as well do it for myself. I started my own business and am a one woman show. It's nothing like having your own business!!!! You never look back and you do everything it takes to keep it going!!!!! :D:D:D

Wow Rays .....I think with all that energy its reallly good you have your own business, and of course our wonderfull hobby:). When she gets bigger she will "own" big blue if shes doing that at almost 4inches.

I don't know, Big Blue is beyond tough! He is crazy enough to eat and live where the catfish lives all day and night. Blue knows when the catfish is upset or on the way to snatch up food, to move immediately.

The female inhales all the food she can at the bottom and will flee and come back 2-3 times max when the catfish swims at her mouth open. She will then go up to her section and charge the fish the same size as her.

Even though she is over aggressive, she does have since enough not to charge the bigger fish. She gets so crazy charging and biting that more than once she will charge the big fish by accident and realize she made a mistake and flees. She will hide for 1 minute and come back and do it all again but is more cautious about the size fish she goes after.

Whatever fish she is, I know there have to be others out of the same batch but I would hate to see them and other fish would too. Imagine if I had 2 or 3!!!
