If we had called out the scientific name of a fish and not the common name of "Green Terror" then you could punk on all of us.

My Jack Dempsey is 6.5 inches and my Green Terror is 7 inches, but the Jack Dempsey is the one that bullies the Green Terror. The Green Terror is relatively peaceful for a cichlid of it's size, at least the one I have is, and it gets along great with my Gold Severum.
First off i had no idea of your age and second i never judged your knowledge of the hobby because of your thread count. I called you out on your weak observation and ignorant comment about what 98%of LFS call a Green Terror. The true GT is very rare anymore these days and is hard to find, but we all knew which one i was refering to except obviously you. But your story you wrote towards me for all of us to read kinda gives the perception that you are 17 and acting like it. You must be a true geek living at home with who knows how many tanks **** you have a female dovii solo in a 120. I wish my parents let me have 5 tanks when i lived at home but wait thats right i wasnt a geek and was out getting drunk and chasing pussy like most of us that age but you look like you stay home and study cichlids. Anyways i never meant to disrespect you but man your wrong in a big way. The commom GT of today easily hits 11" if its a male and can grow a rather large hump and easily hold its own against other large cichlids exept obviously the monsters (Dovii\umbee) type. Get out of the house every once in awhile buddy "Good Luck"..........

This site is great, I love it. And please don't ruin the experience for other users. If you must flame, do so in private messages. Please use maturity when you are in a community.
Oh and, before anybody says anything, I am 30yo, married with 2 kids... so yes I have seen it all, but yet I am still pleasant when it comes to human relations.

Anyway Cyclop3000 sorry bout the flaming man. Your right this is a great site. Sorry if I ruined your thread man. Like I said in my post I gave my honest opinion that terrors cannot hang with the big time heavy duty cichlids like trimacs,buttis,fenerstratus,dovii,motaguense,midas,umbee etc.
That indeed is a very impressive fish however I stand by my original post. They can not hang with the big time cichlids. If you think I am lying then start a poll and see what everyone else thinks.
