In my opinion.

I have a green terror and 3 jack dempseys at about 4" in my 125g. They're super happy and peaceful fish, but they get terrorized by my 1" convict who has claimed the entire center of the tank as his territory and wont' give it up.

I couldn't make the 2 coexist in a 300. Completely personality dependent IMO. Same tank houses a Jag, Argentea, Festae, Freddy so it had nothing to do with them being the most aggressive by far. My Gt could not live with the Jd or Festae. Had to be removed.

I think you certainly can do it, but there are no guarantees.
