Thanks for the replies people, my GT is quite dark i would say and has red/orange around the edge of the top fin and tail fin i think.
Was thinking of gettin another molly anddwarf gourami today and see how that goes, what do people think?

Not being a wise guy, but I think they already did.
It won't be good, once the gt gets bigger.

the first one is to clean out the tank and move some decoration about, so i did and now the tank is very shiney and clean and had a water change.


i took that part out of your first post. im assuming you made your tank shiny clean with a tank brush and not emptying the tank and scrubbing it right down correct? just want to make sure you know about keeping a tank cycled.

I knew GT's were wussy first hand but a molly/gourami? Jesus christ, ive got a 2" JD that picks on my 5.5" male GT's. They dont even get angry at their own reflection! When people say a mature GT will have some agression.. what size are we talking because im thinking they'll be mince meat before they get to that stage.

Im almost contimplating renaming my GT's after olympic runners because thats all mine seem to do..!

Yes i cleaned it with a brush i didnt empty all the water out...if i was do to that then i shouldn't be keeping fish, agreed?
I did like a 20% water change and cleaned all the gravel.

lol, why would that be the case. if you did that then you would have just made a mistake. we all do, even the veterans with 30yrs behind them. everyone has to learn, sometimes by our own mistakes and sometimes from others mistakes.
