I had it with my Arowana a few weeks back. I think it's because of the new food I introduced (Beef Heart), probably spiked the ammonia because he didn't finish the whole thing and made a huge mess in my tank.

Anyways, my arowana is 100% better by 25% water changes every 3 days, bumping up the temp to 85 degrees and dropping in some aquarium salt (1/2 dose and make sure it's dissolved) until cured.

Where the Parachromis roam...
You sure he is not being stressed out by his much bigger tankmates??The Oscar might think he is lunch.Watch with the lights off for a while,if thats the case take him out,if not bump up the heat and add salt.

well i no that he does get chased by the oscar or jag if he goes on there terf
but that goes same with the jag and oscar
but the gt is much smaller and im sure can be stressed out by that
i cant remove the gt to the other tank i have
which is a grow out
which houses a small oscar and small jd
which the GT already beat the crap out of thats why threw him in the big tank in the first place
