I have a gold saum in my tank with a male convict and 2 females. I also have a jack dempsey and a midas in there. Two of the convicts have paired off and have been protecting their little baby fish not for about two weeks. The two of them together are unshakeable thus far. The green terror spends most of his time chasing the other female convict. They are all juveniles at the moment.

I Join also, but #25?. Who knows. We are only up to # 20-something and already it is harder to count than my GT's. And I have some 400+ GT's.A 55g for breeding pair also contains approx 150 fry, 3 growouts for juvies, a 120g South American display with one ex breeder female 9inch, a young pair in my 'Central American' (kinda) tank, and 2 other mature females in my pond with oscars,catfish and barramundi. I'll find out my club membership # someday. No market for GT's here(maybe soon) and I can't bring myself to use as feeders, I admire this fish too much. Nice fish you've all got. cheers

I guess I got bored so I did this, we cant have messed up numbers or the other clubs will make fun of us! haha.

Anyone want 300 juvie GT's......... they are breeding again.....
I used to keep two girls with my male and he alternated between the two but have since removed the one that hid when it 'wasn't her turn'. Now these two breed twice as often...., I now leave the fry in there and they get eaten, but still love the interaction between these two, they never fight or stray too far from each other, and both let me hand feed them. My large 'retired' female in another tank is obsessed with my oscar pair, they are a happy trio, it is cool to watch, nothing malicious, but I do think she is 'getting in the way', so things may change one day. Gotta love the GT.
