Hi My GT is eating almost nothing since a week... do you have an idea!
picture.php

What are your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate levels? How long have you had him? What size tank is he in, and how large is he, and does he have any aggressive tankmates? What foods have you tried feeding? There's a lot of information that will be needed before anyone can make an educated decision.

the only major change i mad I had a drop of ph was under 6 i tried to raise it up with chemical liquid didn't change anything, tried with coral didnt change anything finaly i tried buffer and it worked well.
!!

Why isn't nitrite zero? It should be, if the tank is cycled. Over what period of time were you fiddling with the pH? This could have stressed him, because unless you buffer the water, as you found out, the pH just fluctuates, which can stress fish. When you say he's "very peaceful" now, do you mean since he stopped eating? Like, he's lethargic? Or are the two not connected? This is a lot of big personality in a small tank, and there could be bullying or aggression happening when you're not watching.

It could be the pH fluctuations, but it could also be the fact that you had some nitrite and then you say you have a little nitrate but then you also said you have no nitrite and no nitrate.

I'm not sure what the parameters are, but nitrite indicates the tank's biological filter is stressed, and no nitrate indicates that the cycle has been somehow interrupted. Actual numbers on these levels is much better than subjective description, because we might not mean the same thing, but numbers are the same to everyone!

Hopefully someone will chime in with some ideas here, as well. I'd re-test and provide exact numbers; this would definitely help.

Other than that, I do worry that these fish are growing and needing more room than your tank provides. You've got some aggressive fish in there, for sure.

stay near by im gonna test for you right away. I know about the rooms this is my first tank and was thinking that some of there were supose to die! but everyone live !.

I have 2 option 1st buy a 180 gal tank bigest size i can fit in there

second what if i remove the tetra, jewel, and silver?
