stay near by im gonna test for you right away. I know about the rooms this is my first tank and was thinking that some of there were supose to die! but everyone live !.

I have 2 option 1st buy a 180 gal tank bigest size i can fit in there

second what if i remove the tetra, jewel, and silver?

I wouldnt remove the silver dollar. I agree too mayn fish though in the 60. 180 would solve the problem of overcrowding.

Your ph is low. It should be at lease 7 for a GT. I would put in a big piece of coral and if the doesn't work then some try baking soda. But make sure the ph doesn't change drasticly; should only increase .2 a day.

Try reading here on raising pH and KH:

This is the mix I use on all of my tanks and my pond and it works very well, plus it's cheap. Also, if you're confused at all about KH or pH, this article does a great job of explaining them and their relationship.

what is the dosage for baking soda? So i read the article but. With south american cichlids water ph should be at 7 so the best thing to do is just add baking soda and raise up the hardness to have less movement in my ph. but the water from the tap is 7.2 i dont understand why the ph cam that low.

From the artical.

Per 5 US gallons (20 litres) add the following amounts of each ingredient:

* 1 teaspoon baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
* 1 tablespoon Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate)
* 1 teaspoon marine salt mix (sodium chloride + trace elements)

before seeing the post that I add 5 teaspoon of seachem Neutral Regulator and the ph raise up to 6.6. And after I add 6 tea spoon (1per 10 gal.) of baking soda and my kh pass from 70 to 150mg/l and the perfect one should be 160 (If I dont do any mistake) for the community I have and now I understand why my GT is not that much happy Because he need kh over 150... Thing should be better and PH should keep in place. I gonna keep a look on tem and make new test tomorrow. I keep you on touch. Tank you very much for the tips And I hope the will not die with all this chemistry mess up!
