There are fleshy bumps protruding out of his scales.I am hoping that it can be identified and what steps need to be taken. right now he is in a 120 gallon long and is eating like a pig all seems well except for these obstructions.

I have no clue what this is but I have also seen a Texas Cichlid with the same symptom. It died shortly after showing signs of the bumps and protrusions. The bumps could be a visually sign of something worse happening internally. I'm just not sure. I hope that this isn't fatal for your fish. You'll probably have better luck in the disease section. Try shooting a moderator a PM. Maybe they can point you in the right direction. RD. is a good member to ask too. He knows a lot about cures for fish ailments. Many times his cures are readily available and easy to use.

I went to the pet store and came home with korden all in one disease treatment for internal and external parasites incuding fungus , fin rot and all protozoan. so fingers crossed and hope this works. i even did a water change this morning and raised temp to 84 added alot of aquarium salt.
