Prior to meds do a large water change then medicate. For prazi its a water change after a week so check ur water and see if it needs to be changed. If ur tank is cycled and nitrates are less than 40ppm then can wait. But don’t let it go higher.I made a batch of the mag sulfate/general cure water and soaked some pellets in it and then dried them out. Hopefully he will eat some soon. He hasn't ate in a solid week or more.
kno4te ......you mentioned pristine water.... Should i be doing water changes? I havent messed with the tank since i treated it last night with the Prazipro.

He's in a QT tank with just a big sponge filter going. Still not eating much as far as i can tell. Hopefully he pulls through, he is a good looking male, just needs to pack on some weight.
