Green terror is not growing

The tank has 2 bichirs and 2 gts. all small and growing out for my main tank.

i treated with prazipro while in this tank, but never saw anything to suggest parasites. I did kill off some bichir worms with that, but that is a species specific parasite and shouldn't affect the GTs.

I have seen him eat, but he does not have the appetite of the other one that used to be smaller. I feed live black worms so there are is always a supply of food hiding in the tank. I also feed hikari sinking carnivore pellets.

I was hoping to add them both to the main tank in the near future, but it looks like i might add the other one first.

I just find it odd that the one that had a full 2 inches on the other one is now the small one. He is submissive to the other one at this point, but until the small one grew to about the same size they ignored each other.

I was really hoping to get him big enough to go in my main tank. If he is stunted or a dwarf or something i think i would like to rehome him.

.

I suggest you remove the other GT.. Ithink he's threatened by the other gt.

but I can only imagine

Can you record a video ?

well, yeah. As the small one got to be the same size they started lip locking and after a few days of that the small one won and he has become the big one over the last month or so. I see them both eat, but the newer one has eaten more since the begining.

I moved them both to a seperate 20 gallon tank with a tank divider so i can monitor everyone's food intake a little better and these two will still be seperate from each other in the new setup.

I posted this thread mostly out of confusion on how the small one could gain close to 4 inches in growth while in the same time period, the other one has no noticeble growth at all. I know there are a lot of factors involed here, but diet and enviroment have been identical.
