my green terror is about 2 inches long and it is in a 30 gallon tank with a frontosa and electric yellow both 2 inches. one 2 inch pleco as well. good filtration system. clear water. the green terror had been the bully of the tank as i expected however recently he has been refinded to his own little corner and does not chase the tosa or the EY hardly. he retracts his fins and sits on the rocks. i really like my terror and want to know if anyone can help.
thanks =)

Umm... Not to put damper on things, but your Front, and EY are not compatible with your GT... They will not get along well. They also have different water requirements, and need a much larger tank...

Have you tested your water? Clear doesn't always mean "good".

and okay, im new at this. so personally i really like the front if i was to have a tank with fronts what would be compatible around them? my brother is going to get a tank and im giving him the GT soon.

You would need a MUCH larger tank for even a single adult front. 75-90 gallon minimum...

How long have these fish been together? Did you buy them all at once? And do you have a water testing kit? (Liquid; not strips. API Master Freshwater Kit tests Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, PH and High PH. The first 3 of these are crucial.)

even tho he is only 2 inches? i understand he'll grow especially when he's young. but until then i wasnt going to get a larger tank. if i need to i could tho. and how much do those kits run? how do you alter ammonia levels and nitrites and nitrates? once you do read them that is. they have been in for 2 weeks.

When did you put them in, in relation to when you set up the tank?

The kit is probably between $20 and $30 at your local pet store. Make sure you look at the bottles prior to purchasing, tho. The last 4 digits on each bottle tell you when it was manufactured. They're good for 2-3 years from the date of manufacture (they say 3, I say 2.)

tank was running for a week before the fish were in. and i looked at a compatibility chart a few, and it said be caustious with this combination. i was hoping if i started a few different kinds when they were young they would make their own dominances and be peaceful when they became larger.
and okay about the ammonia levels ill have to get on that asap.

what fish would u recommend with fronts?

also another question. if the ph level and ammonia and other parameters are not great and thats resulting in the GT being sluggish and stuff. why are the others not doing the same. they are both very lively still.
thanks i really appreciate this.
