Green terror not getting color

I'm guessing he's intimidated by one or more of the other tankmates, then. I do see some potential fin damage on your GT-- dorsal and anal fin. Oscar, jewel fish, and giant gourami are potential culprits.

--Ime with jewel fish (Hemichromis species), they're an inconsistent fish in aggression. Some I've had were good citizens, one was a real psycho, some would target another fish in the tank to bully but leave everyone else alone. Love them for their color, but I found them somewhat unpredictable as individual fish in a community. Probably fine in the right setting, but I gave up on them with most of the fish I've kept.

Anyway, could be the jewel, could be another fish, could be the overall mix. I've kept GTs with other cichlids of varying temperament with no problems, but my guess is yours isn't happy-- based on thin belly, fins not perfect, and color.

75 is small for an adult Oscar and nothing else, even worse for an adult giant gourami. Pearl gouramis are nice fish imo, can't specifically remember if I've had them with GTs, but it would be an intriguing combination if the GT doesn't bother them.

But-- even if everyone were happy for now, it's just not a tank that will work for very long.
