Ok guys I bought metro+ it's a hikari product. I did a 1/3 water change then I took the carbon out then dosed 3 capfuls(1 for every 10 gal). The directions are kind of ambiguous because then it Go's on a rant about another one of their products .What should I do next

backtrack and take my initial advice. U got ONE medicine, but forgot the other 3 which are all in the same tablet.....and probably ALOT cheaper than the stuff you got

I don't know about the metro but you have to stay on top of changing the water. Anytime I've seen hole in the head success stories a lot of water changes were involved.

The hole in the head is the least of my concern it's a tiny sunken dot in his forehead , the not eating and pooping clear is what I'm taking care of first and also my nitrates are much lower than before so the hith will come to pass

Some times hith can really kill their appetite and ideally you want the fish to actually be consuming the medication through food or something. So if medicating the water doesn't work (which it sometimes doesn't) you're gonna have to soak the food or something. And if he's not hungry theeeeen... It's all related.

If I were you I would dose the tank 2 or 3 consecutive days then do at least a 50% change. Then repeat.

For long? I don't know. I know some guys that bring in wild caught fish treat them for weeks when they have intestinal parasites. But I'd do some research on it. And, personally, in dealing with a green terror that has parasites, it's work haha.

Oh and I think metro is used to treat hith. Two birds...
