Green Terror or Blue Acara?

I wish I could get my camera to work better. Stupid flash! As to Japes question, it's with 1 firemouth (whom it bullies and chases) 4 tiger barbs, 2 pictus cats, and 1 featherfin synodontis (soon to be moved to a different tank) I hope I didn't get wrong info from the LFS when they said the acara wouldn't outgrow the tank (it's a 38 gallon).
Unfortunately it seems to stay a pretty washed-out color, but it's definitely NOT being bullied, and I'm sure the water is okay (I change about 20% every week). The tail and dorsal fins have orange, but the guy at the LFS said that young acaras can have that. Also, the pic posted by japes is an acara, correct? Or am I mistaken? Are there any good ways to get these fish to color up a little better?

IDK if you know this or not, but if youre interested, "Deep Seize" has a pretty nice 4" Aequidens metae for sale (same genus as saums and green terrors). I was thinking about picking it up, but I don't think I will.

Is that the one near the "back" of the building, with yellower coloring? Neat fish, but I like blue/green colors better :P

What I posted is a Blue Acara. For the first three weeks she was a very dull grey/green colour until I introduced a larger Severum into the tank and it just snapped into the nice black and white stripes.

As a 2-3" juvie, if it's a dull green/grey it's probably a blue Acara, juvie GT's can be quite dark.

Most important thing is though, if it has a yellow, white or orange strip down the edge of the entire Caudal and Dorsal fin, it's a GT. If it's just the dorsal and the top quarter or third of the caudal, it's a BA.

i'm not sure. it's in the aisle w/ the other SA/CA cichlids. It's in the middle towards the end at the very top. I think it's above the Florida flagfish and beside the texas cich tank. if you don't get it, i might end up with it. mikeskillerfish has some A. patricki. they have some blue, but not very vibrant or a whole lot. here's a pic of a metae w/ some blue:
