how can you tell it's female is it the mark below the eyes or the shape of the dorsal fin ?

The mark below the eyes ID's GT, Blue acara's mark would be directly below the eye where as gt's are offset behind the eye. Female because the dorsal fin is rounded, males will be pointy and eventually extend past the tall fin.
