electric blue jds are less aggressive than regulars saty smaller and are prettier. deff worth the money

When they're grown, neither will work with other fish in a 55g tank. I did a GT solo in a 55 and it filled the whole tank when it was 10". The tank didn't look empty by any means and geez what a glass banger.
My jd was way worse then my gt. My jd was 3inch and the gt was 6 and the jd chased him lol. depends on the fish i guess because i here horror stories about gt how mean they are.
well id say jack dempsey..but you are somewhat "wrong" on a jd being bigger than a gt..plus a jd needs around 40 gallons and a gt needs 75..
My one jd is a year old and only 5" and a wimp just hides the other is close to 8 now and holds its own but is not aggressive.
the gold saum i got i was told is 4 years old lived its life in a 30 before i got it and is 12" of sure fills a 5g pale and he is mean, glass bangs tries to fight any one that gets to close to his territory in or out of the tank.
the silver saum i have is 8" now after a year and kinda aggressive it holds its own
with that being said i have seen 12" jd's so they both can get large

my jaguar and jd had a fight and it lasted close to 20 minutes it was epic, after the fight the jaguar looked like he got beat with a bag of nickles i thought he was gonna die, but he rebounded and about a week later challenged my jd again and the jd didnt have any fight left in him and submitted to the jaguar. i was very surprised because the JD did so much damage, my jaguar has serious stamina and is the absolute boss of my tank, i like GT's but if i had a choice it would be a JD without a thought the skin it tough like leather ask my jaguar...hahahahahahahahahah.
i like the terros, therye a more handsome fish. mine are agressive and eat like oscars, meaning anything i put in there is food. ones alot lareger then the other two, but they hold theyre own and eat well. i like feeding em shrimp, and they love it when i do.
