I git this new guy here... He is like 2 inches... SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER AAAALLLLLLLLL
OF MY QUESTIONS!!

1. When will he really start to color up
2. Are they compatiable with a clown knife (when full grown...)
3. Can it get to 12 inches in a220 gallon tank???
4. HOW FAST WILL HE GROW???
5. Is it M or F??

Question 2: DEPENDS ON SIZE OF CK, BUT IF BOTH ACULT SHOULD BE OK!!!

1. Will color up once settled in and starts putting on size 2.possible although clown knife might eat it before it has the chance to reach adulthood 3. It is possible but will take a long time, time good food lots of WC most likely will only hit ten inches4. They grow painfully slow in my experience

1. When will he really start to color up? depends on your definition of color up IMO takes over 6 months to be what I consider colorful
2. Are they compatiable with a clown knife (when full grown...)? With enough room and if the Knife is bigger should be okay, but I'd add dithers just in case.
3. Can it get to 12 inches in a220 gallon tank??? If well taken care of and depending on sex perhaps.
4. HOW FAST WILL HE GROW??? Depends on your dedication to water changes and whether he has little competition for food and the growth will slow as he puts on size
5. Is it M or F?? I wouldn't even try to render a guess at this size

Looks female so probably will not develop the nice colors you expect. color also varies on the genetics of the fish unless you know the ancestry of the fish its all a gamble.
