hello all and happy holidays what size tank does a green terror need to live in are they compatible with other cichlids

so in a 55 it will be a single fish tank only thats what im looking for is the smallest tank i can happily keep one in by itself

the biggest ones will get about 8" if male. you can usually keep a pair in a 55 or one by itself in something a little smaller if you keep up good maintenance.

in a 125 you can easily keep it with tankmates, I'd go for a 75 for one if possible...but a 55 is sufficient

they need water, and a 75 gallon tank for tank mates (1 or 2)

Really depends on the type of Green terror. IMO. That being said the only one that really differs from the other two are the Peru based vs. the Ecuador based.

males can get about a foot or so, although smaller is more likely. a 75 is good for a male. They aren't as terrifying as the name suggests, but they aren't docile either.

What are the differences and how can you tell fish from each location apart? Please elaborate...

Burt :)
