Green Terror Rescue, Bad Shape

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Definitely looks like a physical beating possibly combined with underfeeding. Super clean water, high quality food, no tankmates, and your chances are quite good of a complete recovery.

Thanks. Getting more optimistic every day but still going one day at a time. He's eating and hasn't shown any signs that things aren't getting better. I figure after a week I'll start feeling more confident and if he gets through the month I'll feel like he's should be good to go

I hear that. I have raised quite a few green terror's and when they stop eating thats when things go down hill whether from stress, illness and injury. So if he's eating decent amount and consistantly everyday that's a BIG positive! Sounds like if he is eating good and if he doesnt have any stressers to bother him, he should recoup fine not to mention just settling into his new tank will be a big bonus. Good Luck with him He will be a stunner if he pulls through!

can I suggest you soak his pellets in Epsom salt solution and feed him those for a week . This will help him recover greatly and get rid of any parasites he has . Or help get rid of them .

He didn't make it :-( after 3/4 days I thought he was in good shape, eating and decent attitude, but then he retreated to the corner and was gone the next morning. I think he was too far gone when I got him. I just hope the last few days were better for him than what he was going through before
