If I had only one guess Id say male but its really to young to tell

first shot looks like a male judging by the slope at the head

last shot looks like a female with the more rounded body lol im no help last Saum I bought I was confident was a male low and behold three months later its definatly a female

What you said is right.

Here he is again, the first pics of him was just 10 days ago, he is now in the second pick becoming larger, and getting more colorful, espicially on the tail fin where the yellow is becoming more orange and getting thicker. I hope he is a male!
10 days earlier from today.

You have to remember decoder that the signs you are probably looking for to sex are not as present as they will be in a couple months, this fish is just over 2 inches. Then again you could be that good.

what i will say is that wow, he/she looks great!

but looks nothing like my male did at the same size... maybe its the angle of the pics, but it doesnt seem as elongated as id expect from a male...:smurf

I never see any with elongated fins at petsmart, and there is no way they get all females! At least I don't think. And this guy is only 12 days removed from there so idk.

I see that many others have stolen this thread so I figured I would do the same, I need help sexing some green terrors, the lighter one(2) is larger and is maybe 7", the darker one(1) is about 6". I just received them and have had them for two days now so I have not seen any sex organs or had time to really observe their behaviors. Pics can be seen on the link. We will call the top picture 1 and the bottom picture 2.
