I don't think I've ever read a reliable way to sex GT other than venting when not fully mature.

Re-read it.
"Can anyone make a decent post" is the basic structure of the sentence. "That knows how" modifies "anyone".

I think it is a female... the bottom middle fin is straight leading to a female. If it is more curved and angled then it is a male.

If you put "to" inbetween "how" and "make" it's an incomplete sentence.
I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of 12 year olds here. Seriously. I already explained what is modifying what in the post. It's not something that I would put in a research paper, but it's comprehendable. Probably not the best way to phrase the sentence, but most definitely acceptable.
